About this refrigerant
R407C is a zeotropic HFC blend of R32 / R125 / R134a (23 / 25 / 52 wt%). It has been used in air-conditioning, rooftop packaged units, chillers and some R22 retrofit work where system design accounts for temperature glide and composition shift on leak.
ASHRAE A1, ODP 0, GWP 1774 (IPCC AR4). Charge as liquid; do not top up vapour-only after a leak without following OEM guidance. POE lubricants are typical.

Commercial rooftop AC designed or retrofitted for R407C glide behaviour.
Chillers
Medium-capacity chillers specified with R407C in AC and process cooling.
Selected retrofit projects
R22 replacement work where components and oil are compatible with R407C.
