- ADR
- European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. Refrigerants in cylinders frequently fall under dangerous-goods transport rules depending on classification and packaging.
- GHS / CLP / REACH

- SDS / MSDS

Quality documents for refrigerants commonly address parameters that affect system reliability and oil chemistry. Exact limits depend on the product grade and applicable specification — use the list as a practical checklist when reviewing SDS, TDS and CoA files.
- Purity — content of the intended refrigerant versus impurities
- Moisture — water content; excess moisture harms POE oils and can freeze or corrode components
- Acidity — acidic residues that can attack materials and lubricants
- Non-condensable gases (NCG) — air or other permanent gases that raise head pressure and reduce efficiency
- Residue / high-boiling residue — leftover contaminants after evaporation of the refrigerant sample
